Mail Systems Management Association announces partnership with the:
Association of Office Service Professionals (AOSP)
“The Mail Systems Management Association is proud to be in partnership with the Association of Office Service Professionals and look forward to forging many successful educational opportunities for all members moving forward.” Barbara Fahy, MDC, National President, MSMA.
The Mission of the AOSP is to bring together office service professionals from industries involved with domestic and international mail, administrative services, distribution, logistics, shipping/receiving, communications and more. The goal is to provide education and training opportunities that will allow personal and professional growth to members on a wide variety of topics and disciplines. Additionally, offering a network of professional colleagues and resources that will enable members to provide value added services to their companies, clients and associates.
“The AOSP is thrilled with this new alliance, and we hope to bring timely information and education to all members and add value to our industries through this collaboration.” Betsy Shortell, ALM, CMDSM, EMCM, MDP, MDC, Managing Director, Association of Office Service Professionals
AOSP has developed a new certification for professionals overseeing the many disciplines within office services and the pilot certification program Office Service Professional Certification, (OSPC) and will be administered at MAILCOM ’18 in Philadelphia, April 9-11.
The Office Service Professional Certification (OSPC) provides training and certification credentials for entry and mid-level staff working in office service and support services in any size company. It is geared toward individuals with 3 years or less of experience seeking training in basic office services functions, but would also benefit individuals desiring to hone their professional skills and distinguish themself as a professional. This can be taken as a stand-alone certification or as a first step in eventually pursuing one of the MSMA Certifications; MDC, CMDSM or CMDSS.
Interested individuals should contact: Barbara Fahy @ email@example.com or Betsy Shortell @ firstname.lastname@example.org
The Mail Systems Management Association has chapters in 12 major market cities and members at large throughout the country. Anyone wanting more information about certification or membership may call toll free 1-800-714-MSMA or contact MSMA through their website www.msmanational.org.
